Please let it be me =)

So i failed Math 233 last year, the toughest Math subject in engineering course.Laplace Transform and Multiple Integral are the 2 KILLER topic which killed me last year.

Failed miserably without even supplementary exam offered. =S

With all the love-hate relationship that i'm having in trying to catch up with the 3rd year pace and repeating subjects, while the rest of other friends advancing excellently leaving me behind in a no mens land, Alhamdulillah we all got a message from Math233 lecturer who've marked our final paper :

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Dear students,

I hope you are still in good shape after a week of exam. If you have not done the course and teaching evaluations for this unit, please could you do so now. Your feedbacks and suggestions are highly appreaciated.

Also, I'd to tell you an interesting finding about your EM 233 exam. There are 3 people who scored more than 90% in the exam in this subject. What impresss me is that 2 out of these 3 high performers are those who failed this unit last year. So, I want to congratulate them, you will know whom I mean when you receive your result. "

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Pretty please let it be me! For me papa and me mama! PLEASE =) i've done so much to let them down, Please Ya Allah, let me make them happy so that You would grant me jannah ...

Its true, the taste of winning after losing taste different.
It tasted like sip of frosty and perfect cendol under a hot blazing sun.
But probably 66.8% sweeter

Oh yuh, to all the 3rd-Year out there, spend quality time this one month break with your family k. Take em out, bake em cookies, watch "The Arrivals" together, drive them to mosque, prank.chase.eat and be happy with each other. Because the next 3 months break we have industrial training.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hadith of the day:

On the authority of Ibn 'Umar, RA, who said: The Messenger of Allah, SAW, took me by the shoulder and said:
"Be in this world as though you were a stranger or a traveler/wayfarer."
[Sahih Muslim]
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Rasulullah = COOL :

"Aisha radiyallah anha reports that, “Rasoolullah sallallahu alaihe wasallam ate watermelon with fresh dates.”
[Sunan At-Tarmidhi]

Aisha radiyallahu anha says, “The drink most liked by Rasoolullah sallallahu alaihe wasallam was that which was sweet and cold.”
[Sunan At-Tarmidhi]
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I bet he p.b.u.h will like cendol!

tee heee ... =) i love the hadith too.

at first i wanted to narrate a hadith which revolves on his pbuh decency in life. How his simplicity in life were. Good enough not to support family and da'wah, but simple enough not to be boastful and arrogant.

He has this optimum and precise characteristic. Being engineer-minded, optimum is the best way to go, not too deprived, not too wasteful. And he has this in everything he did. To eat enough to be energetic and fresh for ibadah, but yet not too full which make it uncomfortable and lazy.

=) akhi do u know that the sahabah used to joke around and they were not in serious mode everytime. They used to eat watermelon together and after finishing it, they will throw the watermelon skin with each other. Im amazed on how they cherish life and maintin the responsiblity as a servant of God.

=) thnx for the prayer

g luck with the rest of other thing in life akhi ... salam

Akh, Thanks I've no idea that the Sahabah really did that. Subhanallah, it must be really beautiful isn't it?
=D

Yes Ayub, it doesn't mean that being a Muslim we have to be srious all the time. We just have to know the limit and make it balance btween this world and the next world to come. I myself a serious person actually ^_^ but I love jokes!

Akh,please keep writing the stories of Rasulullah or even the Sahabahs ya. I like when you do that. =)Sometimes we tend to forget that Rasululluah is just a an ordinary human being(of course his status was elevated by Allah). To know the very 'ordinary' side of Rasulullah and the Sahabahs is totally an amazing thing right?. I really hope you don't stop blogging ya -ever. Ana uhibbuk Fillah.

Thanks for the Dua'. Ameen Ya Rabb !!

May all your duas be granted.
Regardless, we're happy just knowing that you've done your best.

p/s: You're probably right that Rasulullah SAW might like cendol. He might even delight in popiah basah, sup ekor, and rojak ayam. These were not around for him then. Similarly all sorts of things are not yet around for us too. Live for keredaan. And prepare to be delighted.

Ayah: amin.amin.amin *tears* insyaAllah. thnx ayah for understanding. =) Yes we'll try and make some of those for Rasulullah if we manage to get to see him pbuh. insyaAllah! see you in a bit!

THW: No need to say that akhi *blushed* ... may Allah bless both of us paradise. Amin!
